McComb had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Port Gibson Blue Waves with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

McComb's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Port Gibson, they dropped their record down to 7-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, McComb will head out to square off against Pass Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Port Gibson, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against St. Patrick at 12:00 p.m.
