Volleyball Game Preview: Surrey Mustangs vs. Velva Aggies + How To Watch

The Surrey Mustangs will take on the Velva Aggies at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Surrey will bounce into Monday's match after beating Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mavericks on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Velva made easy work of Bishop Ryan on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Aggies.

While Velva won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-22.

Surrey better keep an eye on Keely Cadwell. She was instrumental in Velva's win, getting 14 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Cadwell has posted over her last 12 contests.

Surrey's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Velva, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8-1.

Surrey was able to grind out a solid win over Velva in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Aggies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
