Salem Academy Charter fell victim to Excel Academy Charter and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Excel Academy Charter this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on Tuesday.

Salem Academy Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Excel Academy Charter, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Salem Academy Charter will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Neighborhood House Charter at 4:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Excel Academy Charter, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Cohasset on the 22nd.
