West Cabarrus is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Olympic just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 20-17.

Meanwhile, Cox Mill suffered their closest defeat since November 1, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Hickory Ridge by a score of 23-20. Chargers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Ragin' Bulls since Friday.

West Cabarrus' loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-4. As for Cox Mill, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
