Soccer Game Preview: Austin vs. Del Valle

The Austin Maroons will head out on the road to challenge the Del Valle Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Austin is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over Floresville on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Maroons considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Del Valle faced off against Liberty Hill on Friday. Neither Del Valle nor Liberty Hill could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The Cardinals' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Winston Enamorado, who's now up to six this season.

Austin's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4-2. Del Valle's draw makes their record 5-2-1 this season.
