Basketball Recap: Carrollton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tri-City last Saturday, Carrollton came back down to earth. The Carrollton Hawks fell 44-33 to the North Greene Spartans on Monday. The game marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Carrollton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for North Greene, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carrollton will host Madison at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for North Greene, they will look to defend their home court on January 8, 2025 against Griggsville-Perry at 7:30 p.m.
