Baseball Recap: Emmaus Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Emmaus's offense. They fell just short of the Whitehall Zephyrs by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Hornets have suffered since March 24th.

Emmaus has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Whitehall, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Emmaus didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-7 defeat against Parkland on the 4th. As for Whitehall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against East Stroudsburg North on the 2nd.
