Volleyball Recap: Woodmont Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven + How To Watch

Woodmont won the last time they faced Greenville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Red Raiders. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

While Woodmont won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-23.

Woodmont was led to victory by Lauren Smith and Riley Gross. Smith had 16 digs and five assists, while Gross had 15 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Gross has posted over her last six matches.

Woodmont pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Greenville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
