While Apollo's win against Glendale wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Cardinals on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won three in a row.

Apollo had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 20-25, 25-13, 25-22, 25-13.

The victory got Apollo back to even at 2-2. As for Glendale, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Apollo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against San Luis on the 12th. As for Glendale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Sierra Linda on the 11th.
