Football Recap: Benjamin Franklin Takes a Loss

Benjamin Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Lake Clifton Lakers and fell 38-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bayhawks of the 32-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.

Benjamin Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lake Clifton, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Coming up, Benjamin Franklin will head out to face off against Carver Vo-Tech at 3:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Lake Clifton, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Green Street Academy at 2:00 p.m. on the 31st.
