Volleyball Recap: Pisgah Has No Trouble Against East Gaston + How To Watch

East Gaston typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Pisgah proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

While Pisgah might've won, it sure wasn't easy: East Gaston scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19, 27-25.

East Gaston lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Emma Horneman, who had 12 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Cooper Payne, who had 12 digs.

Pisgah's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for East Gaston, their defeat ended an 11-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-5.

Looking ahead, Pisgah will head out to square off against South Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Gaston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
