Innovation Montessori has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the St. John Lutheran Saints at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Innovation Montessori is ranked 789th, while St. John Lutheran is ranked 781st).
Innovation Montessori posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Apopka Christian Academy as Innovation Montessori made off with a 38-16 victory.
Meanwhile, St. John Lutheran pushed their score all the way to 58 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of First Academy by a score of 61-58. St. John Lutheran has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Bryce Disimile, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brody Gravante, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Innovation Montessori pushed their record up to 3-11 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.67 points. As for St. John Lutheran, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.
