Softball Recap: Poth Pirates vs. Luling Eagles

Poth came out on top against Luling on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run sixth inning. The Pirates walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Eagles. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

On the hitting side, Poth got a massive performance out of Ava Kroll, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-4. Those two home runs gave Kroll a new career-high. Kynzlie Gaylor was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and one stolen base.
