Volleyball Recap: Veribest Comes Up Short

If Veribest was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Junction on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Andrews Mustangs on Friday. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2017.

Andrews' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Danlee Fisher, who had nine digs.

Veribest's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Andrews, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Veribest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy on the 22nd. As for Andrews, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Sonora on the 22nd.
