Volleyball Game Preview: Ceres Bulldogs vs. Livingston Wolves

The Ceres Bulldogs will head out to challenge the Livingston Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ceres will be strutting in after a victory while Livingston will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Ceres turned things around against Central Valley on Monday. They put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 3-0 win.

While Ceres won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 25-17.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday's Canine Competition, Livingston had to take the L. They came up short against Hughson on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-17, 25-12.

Livingston's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Ceres, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Ceres took their win against Livingston when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
