Basketball Game Preview: Freedom Life Academy Patriots vs. Faith Training Christian Academy

The Freedom Life Academy Patriots will take on Faith Training Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Freedom Life Academy was beaten by John Paul the Great Academy 57-22.

Despite the defeat, Freedom Life Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Collin Achord posted eight points along with 11 boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Solomon, who earned 12 points in addition to eight steals and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Faith Training Christian Academy humbled Brighton with a 63-24 victory. Faith Training Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 39 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Faith Training Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 44 points in those games. As for Freedom Life Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
