Football Recap: Apalachee Comes Up Short

After flying high against Chattahoochee last Saturday, Apalachee came back down to earth. The Wildcats took a blow against the Cherokee Bluff Bears on Friday, falling 47-2. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-0.

Apalachee's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cherokee Bluff, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Apalachee will be playing in front of their home fans against Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cherokee Bluff, they will head out on the road to square off against North Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
