Basketball Recap: Monte Del Sol Charter Takes a Loss

Monte Del Sol Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 64-13 defeat at the hands of the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls.

Antonio Trujillo III was Monte Del Sol Charter's leading scorer, having posted six points.

Oak Grove Classical Academy had a senior duo take command as Brody Prochnow posted 23 points and Isaac Rush put up 21 points. That's the most points Prochnow has posted since back in December of 2024. Ivan Moore was another key player, putting up nine points.

Monte Del Sol Charter's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Oak Grove Classical Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Monte Del Sol Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-44 defeat against Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy on the 6th. As for Oak Grove Classical Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-52 loss against Legacy Academy on the 6th.
