Softball Preview: Whitehall-Yearling Rams vs. Liberty Christian Academy Eagles
The Whitehall-Yearling Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Liberty Christian Academy Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Whitehall-Yearling will be strutting in after a victory while Liberty Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.
Whitehall-Yearling took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Everything went their way against Tree of Life Christian as Whitehall-Yearling made off with a 14-3 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rams needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Aubree Waites made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. Waites was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
