Soccer Game Preview: Glenbard South vs. Juarez

The Glenbard South Raiders will take on the Juarez Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Glenbard South's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lemont on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Glenbard South can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 210th, while Lemont are ranked 72nd).

Meanwhile, Juarez also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 4-0 to Lincoln Park last Wednesday.

Juarez's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-5. As for Glenbard South, they dropped their record down to 7-10-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
