Basketball Recap: Warren County Skates Past Spring Hill with Ease

Warren County posted their biggest victory since January 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They breezed by the Spring Hill Raiders to the tune of 56-29. Given the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Raiders are ranked 332nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Warren County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Corban Felton, who posted 12 points and five boards. Felton is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Deashawn Adams, who put up 11 points and four steals.

Warren County pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Spring Hill, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Warren County will host Shelbyville Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spring Hill, they will head out on the road to square off against Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Spring Hill likes a good challenge.
