Basketball Game Preview: Chatham Cavaliers vs. Halifax County Comets

Chatham hasn't had much luck against Halifax County recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cavaliers will head out to square off against the Comets at 7:00 p.m. Chatham will be strutting in after a victory while Halifax County will be coming in after a loss.

Last Wednesday, Chatham beat Patrick County 52-43.

Meanwhile, Halifax County was just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 57-56 to Dan River.

The win got Chatham back to even at 1-1. As for Halifax County, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Chatham ended up a good deal behind Halifax County in their previous meeting last Monday, losing 65-46. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
