After losing to Rosamond the last time they met, Immanuel Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crusaders blew past the Roadrunners 23-5 on Monday. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by seven  runs or more this season.
 Abigail Barham made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing five innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  double.
 In other batting news, Immanuel Christian let  Ava Blakie and  Chloe Loughlin run wild. Blakie  went 4-for-5 with one  home run, four  runs,  and four  RBI, while  Loughlin  went 3-for-4 with two  triples, three  runs,  and four  RBI. That's the most  runs  Loughlin has posted since back in March.  Charlotte Cabrera was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Immanuel Christian  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 17  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in four consecutive  matchups.
Immanuel Christian pushed their record up to 17-5 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Rosamond,  with the  defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-11.
 Looking ahead, Immanuel Christian will challenge Lee Vining at 3:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Rosamond, they will host Frazier Mountain  at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
