It's playoff time, and Rich had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Monticello Buckaroo to the tune of 52-16 on Wednesday. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Rich found their leader in sophomore Braylyn Pugmire, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds. Pugmire has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Cassandra Argyle was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Rich smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.

The victory was the eighth in a row for Rich, bringing their record for this year to 22-2. As for Monticello, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.

Rich and Monument Valley will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played. As for Monticello, they and Piute will face off at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played.
