Football Recap: Grace Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Grace Christian Academy fell victim to Franklin Road Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Panthers, falling 31-0. The Lions have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Knox Lambert threw for 103 yards on 13 of 26 attempts. Warren Degraff was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards.

Grace Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Franklin Road Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Grace Christian Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Battle Ground Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lions 12.2, the Wildcats 13) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Franklin Road Academy will face off against rival Columbia Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
