Softball Recap: Tustin's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Tustin came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Anaheim Colonists, falling 13-2. The loss put an end to the Tillers' undefeated start to the season.

Samantha Reyes was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tustin fell to 2-1. As for Anaheim, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tustin will head out to challenge Estancia at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Tustin's pitchers better be ready for this one: Estancia has averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Anaheim, they will challenge Santiago at 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Santiago will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Anaheim surely won't give up without a fight.
