Baseball Recap: Edgewood Comes Up Short

Edgewood extended their losing streak to 12 on Monday, dropping them down to 1-13. They lost 13-7 to the Harford Tech Cobras. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Cobras from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

As for Harford Tech, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games.

For Harford Tech's part, Christian Donlick and Zach Lane did most of the damage at the plate: Donlick got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Lane went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. The Cobras are undefeated when Lane posts two or more runs, but 1-6 otherwise. Max Cullison was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

While Edgewood had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
