Soccer Recap: Ridgecroft Takes a Loss

Ridgecroft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pungo Christian Academy Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Pungo Christian Academy this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in March.

Ridgecroft's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Pungo Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7.

Ridgecroft does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pungo Christian Academy, they will face off against The Oakwood School at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Oakwood School's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Pungo Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
