Baseball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.75 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They lost 12-6 to the Unioto Shermans. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Shermans: they've now lost three in a row.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Unioto, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Valley will square off against Zane Trace at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Unioto does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
