The New York State Public High School Athletic Association Section 5 football playoffs are underway.
The championship games for Classes A and D are scheduled for Nov. 8 while the Class AA, B and C championships will be determined on Nov. 9.
Section 5's host site for Classes AA, C and D will be the College at Brockport while Hobart College will serve as the host site for Class A. Finalists in Class B will compete for its hardware at St. John Fisher College.
Champions in 2018 include Aquinas (AA), Irondequoit (A), Batavia (B), Letchworth/Warsaw (C) and Alexander (D). Aquinas will be going for its third straight Section V title.
