The Lakeland Cavaliers will take on the Great Bridge Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Wednesday, Lakeland had to suffer through a 81-22 loss at the hands of Nansemond River. The defeat continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Great Bridge lost to Indian River on the road by a 49-34 margin on Tuesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Great Bridge, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
