Soccer Recap: Community Academy of Philadelphia Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Community Academy of Philadelphia and New Foundations squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Community Academy of Philadelphia had to settle for second. They lost 4-1 to New Foundations. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Community Academy of Philadelphia couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Dimas Alonzo, which was the first he's scored this season.

Community Academy of Philadelphia has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7-1 record this season. As for New Foundations, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

As of now, neither Community Academy of Philadelphia nor New Foundations have any future games scheduled.
