Basketball Recap: Morgan Takes a Loss

Morgan was the 71-30 winner over North Branford when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Morgan Huskies took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Branford Thunderbirds on Saturday.

Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Branford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morgan will take on Cromwell in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Branford, they will be home for the holidays to greet Valley Regional at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
