Volleyball Recap: Evansville Reitz Extends Winning Streak to Three

Evansville Reitz hadn't done well against Evansville Memorial recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

While Evansville Reitz won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-18, 25-19.

REESE PARSONS paced Evansville Reitz's offense, picking up 17 kills. PARSONS got some help from KIERSTYN KAISER and her 32 assists. KAISER also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with KENDALL KAISER, each putting up two.

The victory got Evansville Reitz back to even at 12-12. As for Evansville Memorial, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-16.
