Basketball Recap: Calvary Academy Finds Home Court Redemption Against Texoma Christian

There's no place like home for Calvary Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-48 victory over the Texoma Christian Eagles on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Calvary Academy picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 5-10. As for Texoma Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Calvary Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Covenant Classical at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. As for Texoma Christian, they will take on Covenant Christian in a tournament on Saturday.
