There's no place like home for Stoughton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-12 victory over the Portage Warriors on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Reign Altenburg, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Givon Storkson, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Stoughton's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Portage, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
