Basketball Recap: Johnson Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Justice Crowell and Quentin James

Johnson lost against Liberty County back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Atomsmashers fell 53-45 to the Panthers.

Despite the defeat, Johnson had strong showings from Quentin James, who posted 19 points, and Justice Crowell, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 13 points and seven rebounds.

Johnson's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Liberty County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Johnson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 65-55 victory against St. Andrew's on the 13th. As for Liberty County, they have also already played their next contest, a 42-40 win against Calvary Day on the 13th.
