Football Recap: Chapman Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chapman had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-4 to make it four. They fell 40-34 to the Clinton Red Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 49-27 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

As for Clinton, the win got them back to even at 2-2. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their 12-point performance the matchup before.

Javen Cook continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 215 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 109.5 rushing yards per game. Pj McGowan did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 85 receiving yards.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chapman will square off against Christ Church Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clinton, they will take on Daniel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
