Baseball Recap: Mt. Whitney Comes Up Short

Mt. Whitney lost against Redwood back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pioneers took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rangers. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eli McLennan made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Mt. Whitney's loss dropped their record down to 7-21. As for Redwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Mt. Whitney nor Redwood have any future games scheduled.
