Basketball Game Preview: Pasco Bulldogs vs. Hanford Falcons

The Pasco Bulldogs will head out to take on the Hanford Falcons at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pasco is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Chiawana on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Pasco was outmatched by Chiawana and fell 80-27. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hanford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Richland, falling 58-38. One positive for the Falcons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Hanford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Pasco, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Pasco came out on top in a nail-biter against Hanford in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, sneaking past 68-65. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pasco since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
