Basketball Recap: Seven Straight Home Victories for Interlake

Interlake waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Highline Pirates with a sharp 68-42 win. The Saints pushed the score to 58-33 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pirates had little chance of recovering from.

Interlake was led to victory by Harper Moore and Tiffany Shaw. Moore went 9 of 21 en route to 19 points in addition to five assists and four steals, while Shaw went 7 for 12 on her way to 20 points and three steals. Moore is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Eliana - Gatoni Keza, who posted eight points and ten boards.

Interlake's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Highline, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

As of now, neither Interlake nor Highline have any future games scheduled.
