Baseball Recap: Clarendon Falls Short of West Texas in the Playoffs

Clarendon and West Texas squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Clarendon had to settle for second. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comanches. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comanches this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on Thursday.

Clarendon has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season. As for West Texas, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-11.

Clarendon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Texas, they will take on Ropes on Thursday. The Comanches will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
