Hamilton Southeastern has gone a perfect 6-0 against Anderson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Royals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Indians at 5:30 p.m. The last three games Hamilton Southeastern has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Hamilton Southeastern is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Brownsburg, who was ranked 21st at the time (Hamilton Southeastern was ranked 16th). The Royals' pitcher stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 1-0 shutout on Friday. The game was the first time the Royals have beaten the Bulldogs on their field since May 19, 2015.

The result came thanks to Grace Swedarsky's shutout, as she gave up just five hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Hamilton Southeastern saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Feher, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Anderson was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of New Castle. The Indians have struggled against the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Hamilton Southeastern is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Anderson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Hamilton Southeastern was able to grind out a solid victory over Anderson in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 5-0. Will the Royals repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
