Basketball Game Preview: Geneseo Blue Devils vs. Caledonia-Mumford Raiders

The Geneseo Blue Devils are taking a road trip to square off against the Caledonia-Mumford Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Geneseo's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

Last Friday, Geneseo ended up a good deal behind Avon and lost 79-65. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Braves recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Caledonia-Mumford beat Early College International 42-31 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Geneseo better keep an eye on Collin Foote. He was instrumental in Caledonia-Mumford's win, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 15 boards. Foote is becoming a predictor of Caledonia-Mumford's success: when he posts at least ten rebounds the team is 2-1 (and 5-9 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Sean McNear, who posted five points and six boards.

Caledonia-Mumford's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Geneseo, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4.

Everything came up roses for Geneseo against Caledonia-Mumford in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 63-33 victory. In that matchup, Geneseo amassed a halftime lead of 36-5, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
