Softball Recap: Buckhannon-Upshur Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Buckhannon-Upshur's offense. They lost 6-0 to the Parkersburg South Patriots on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Buccaneers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Buckhannon-Upshur saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kynnedy Marple, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Buckhannon-Upshur's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Parkersburg South, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Buckhannon-Upshur will challenge Grafton at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Parkersburg South, they will be playing at home against Dover at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
