Palisades scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Notre Dame Spartans by a score of 63-60. The Pirates have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Palisades still got an impressive performance from Blake Oglialoro, who went 11 of 20 on his way to 27 points in addition to five boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lincoln Cook, who posted 16 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.

Even though they lost, Palisades was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Palisades' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Notre Dame, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Palisades won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wilson Area at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Notre Dame, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Louis E. Dieruff at 2:15 p.m. on Monday. Notre Dame is facing Louis E. Dieruff at the right time seeing as Louis E. Dieruff is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
