Softball Recap: Washington-Liberty Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Washington-Liberty's offense. They lost 11-0 to the George C. Marshall Statesmen on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Generals in their meetings with the Statesmen: they've now lost four in a row.

Washington-Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for George C. Marshall, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Washington-Liberty is set to face off against their familiar foe Herndon at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, George C. Marshall will square off against rival McLean at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
