Soccer Recap: Scranton Takes a Loss

Scranton lost against Western Wayne back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights lost 9-0 to the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Scranton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 494th, while Western Wayne are ranked 170th).

Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Western Wayne, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Scranton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Western Wayne, they will be playing at home against Blue Ridge at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
