Meanwhile, Hilton Head Christian Academy hadn't done well against Trinity Collegiate recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 42-20 margin over the Titans. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Eagles just coasted through the last quarter.
Hilton Head Christian Academy's win came from a few key players Wilson Hall will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Hudson Baker, who rushed for 115 yards and two scores on only 13 carries. Those 115 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kres Langhals, who threw for 220 yards and three TDs.
One reason for the win was Hilton Head Christian Academy's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up 0.5 apiece ( Hudson Factor, Logan Baker, Langhals, and Mason Feaster also recorded half a sack). Another thorn in Trinity Collegiate's side was Hayne Burden, who picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Hilton Head Christian Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Wilson Hall, their record is now 10-1.
