Basketball Recap: University Wildcats vs. Palisades Dolphins
After soaring to 66 points the game before, University was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They were dealt a 57-29 defeat at the hands of the Palisades Dolphins. The Wildcats have struggled against the Dolphins recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, University saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Joey Mendoza posted nine points. Mendoza continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
University's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Palisades, they pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
